Shop News! UPDATE

Updated: Mar 8, 2021

Alright members,

A shop is in extremely close proximity, and with that said I would like to thank each of you for your support in my female owned, black owned, and Bay Area born and raise native owned business. This has been a long journey that began in 2014 by deciding to take the biggest leap of faith I've ever attempted, full time entrepreneurship in the art industry.

Ive had more bumps than I can count on this road to where I am now, but with every bump there was a new discovery on how to progress in my business.

With this upcoming shop, I will be partnering with a wax specialist and a famous Bay Area piercer, to create a space where body artistry can be expressed in all forms; a one stop body shop!

There will be retail items, there will be special pop up events, there will be indoor photoshoot space, there will be new classes held, there will be rental space for other service providers, and so much more!

As members I've decided to give you guys more insight to what goes on behind the scenes with me, Lexx Marie. So get ready, because you have officially gotten tickets to the viewing of my business expansion and even some person tidbits as well about me (this is rare y'all, consider yourselves very special).

Blessings, Love, and all the above,

Lexx Marie

UPDATE: The hunt for a new shop continues

It's with a heavy heart that I have to announce, the shop referenced in this previous post will not be going forth with me as a part of it.

As my subscribers I will let you know that it truly makes me sad to think a business ownership between 3 women of color could not happen due to misunderstanding, miscommunication, and above all, ego. There will still be a shop, but I will be the sole person not a part of it. I take this all as a sign from the universe that the path i was about to take 5 days after this new broke, was not the right path for me, and ultimately would not have been the best environment for my clients.

I am currently looking for a location to have the freedom to curate, organize, and provide the vibe ive always tried to maintain throughout my entrepreneurship journey; professional, peaceful, welcoming and warm.

I thank you all for your continued support, and again, I can't express in words how much it means to me.
